WHAT WE DO

Geneva Lutheran Endowment Fund (GLEF) was established to enhance the outreach of Geneva Lutheran Church (GLC). The Fund receives gifts and bequests that enable support for mission programs that are beyond what is possible through GLC resources.

GLEF differs from the GLC’s memorial Fund.

Donations to the GLEF are invested and the interest is what becomes the gift. The original donation remains invested, continuing to earn interest so distributions can continue to be made.
Contributions to GLC's Memorial Fund are a one time donation used by the church. GLEF will make annual donations to various organizations that are deemed to fit in the scope of the GLEF.

The three categories are: Outreach in the Community, Mission Beyond Community and Learning and Personal Growth.
